She is wearing a black dress with a long line of black buttons down the front and a black lace bow at her throat. Her hair is pulled back and mostly covered by white fabric. She is seated on a wooden chair with beige padding on the seat, back, and arms. The photograph is been hand-tinted so that her skin is beige, her lips red, and her cheeks pink, and the chair as been tinted brown and beige.

His body is turned very slightly to the right, with his head turned partially to the right, towards Graves. Graves, on the right, is wearing dark pants and a tan jacket, and is holding a helmet under his left arm.
