George Smith Patton, Junior stands in a doorway, turned in profile. He is wearing his military uniform, with a dark coat, white shirt, light pants, boots with gaiters or half chaps, and a black kepi. The doorway he is standing in is set in a brick wall and has two shuttered wooden doors. There is a low coal chute to the left of the door with a pair of shoes resting on top, and shuttered windows on either side of the door.
