Description: A bust-length studio portrait of an unidentified Union officer (probably a Captain?) turned very slightly to the right. The officer has a full but neat mustache and beard which extends past his collar to the first button of his coat, and a very high forehead. "T. Lilienrhal, ; 102 Poydras St. New Orleans" is printed on the verso, with an illustrated view of Lilienthal's photography shop.

A bust-length studio portrait of Union Captain Benjamin Frank Kinsley of the 36th Colored Infantry Regiment, turned slightly to the left. Kinsley has a small mustache, a neat goatee that reaches the bottom of his collar, and pale eyes. "A.W. Kimball, photographic artist, 176 Elm Street, Manchester, N.H." is stamped in black on the verso. There is a blue two cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso.

Christy of the 22nd Colored Infantry Regiment, with his head turned slightly to the left, and his body turned very slightly to the right. Christy has a very full mustache and beard that reaches below his collar. "Brady's National Photographic Portrait Galleries ; No. 352 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C. and Broadway & Tenth St., N.Y." printed in black on verso.

A bust-length studio portrait of Union Regimental Quartermaster William L. Robinson (1839-1894) of the 22nd Colored Infantry Regiment, with his head turned slightly to the right. Robinson has a full mustache and goatee that reaches his collar, with the rest of his beard closely shaved, and he has very pale eyes. "F. Gutekunst ; No. 704 & 706 Arch St. ; Philadelphia" and an armorial crest are printed on verso. There is a green three cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso upside down.

The soldier has full, neatly trimmed mutton chops, a clean-shaven chin, a thin mustache, and a high forehead. "Henszey & Co., photographers, 812 Arch Street, Philadelphia. Duplicates furnished at any time by sending name, and number of Negative. No. 8501" stamped in black on verso, with "8501" handwritten in pencil.
