Paul[us] p[ri]me cor[inthiorum]. xiiij. capite." The whole covered by the episcopal insignia and surrounded by ornamented borders. Running titles as per chapter headings. First colophon on verso of leaf k4 reads: A gloria y alaba[n]ça de dios n[uest]ro señor y de su bendita madre fue impressa esta doctrina catholica en Mexico por ma[n]dado del reuere[n]dissimo señor don fray Jua[n] çumarraga: primero obispo de la misma ciudad: p[ar]a vtilidad comun. Especial de los indios: porque por ella sean catherizados los q[ue] se ouiere[n] de baptizar: y enseñados los baptizados. Second colophon, on recto of leaf n8, reads: A gloria de Jesu Christo y de su bendita madre: aqui se acaba lo añedido al cathecizmo por doctrina mas facil para los indios menos entendidos y mas rudos y negros.
