    Microfilm of the diary of A.H. Hill, begun while he was serving on a mission to England from 1865-1866. The diary records his experiences in England and Scotland, including at Liverpool, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newbury, London, Portsmouth, and Reading. It includes an account of his return voyage to the United States and overland travels to Utah. The second half of the diary covers Hill's daily life in Utah. It closes with various notes he made on his English trip, including a list of people baptized, itineraries, and a list of letters sent.

    Microfilm of the diaries of Joseph H. Richards, covering the years 1876, 1881, 1886, and 1892-1893. All of the Utah and Arizona diaries consist of brief entries recalling Richards's daily life. The 1876 volume records his life in Utah and his call to colonize Arizona; the 1881 volume records his life in the St. Joseph United Order; the 1886 diary recalls his travels from Arizona to Utah and California; and the 1892-1893 diary recounts in more detail his mission to England and Scotland, and also includes a brief autobiography.

    Microfilm of the diaries of Thomas Judd, covering the years 1876-1878 and 1906-1908. The first two diaries, dated 1876-1877 and 1877-1878, cover Judd's mission to Britain. The 1906 diary covers Judd's activities in La Verkin, his business trips around Washington County, and a trip to Las Vegas and California, including Los Angeles, Pasadena, several beaches, and Santa Catalina Island (where he took a glass bottom boat ride). The 1907 diary describes a second trip to California, including San Francisco, as well as Utah business activities, and the 1908 diary traces Judd's sea voyage from New York to Los Angeles. Portions of the diary are very faint and may be partially illegible.

    Microfilm of six diaries kept by William Farrer from 1849-1854. The first volume, dated 1849, recalls Farrer's travels from Utah to California with Charles Coulson Rich. The 1850-1851 diary begins when Farrer was preparing to depart California for Hawaii, and recounts his sea voyage and missionary work through 1851. The remaining four diaries were kept while Farrer was serving on his Hawaiian mission, and are dated 1851-1852, 1852-1853, 1853, and 1854. Also included on the reel is "A Short Account of My Mission to the Sandwich Islands," sent by Farrer to "Pres. Clawson and Tibbetts" in 1855, and a brief excerpt on Farrer from the Deseret News, dated 1897 and written by Ramona Farrer Cottam.

    Diaries of Oz Flake [microform] : 1893-1899

    Microfilm of the diaries of Oz Flake, kept from 1893-1899. The first volume is identified as Record of the Life of O.D. Flake, Snowflake, Book A, and is dated 1893. It opens with a brief autobiography of Flake's life through about 1893, and then transitions into diary entries beginning in about 1894. The diary covers Flake's life in Arizona and an 1896 trip to California. The second volume is identified as Record C and records Flake's 1897-1898 mission to the southern states, particularly Mississippi. The second reel contains a diary dated 1898, which covers the southern states mission in Mississippi as well as stops in Tennessee, New Orleans, and St. Louis. The final volume is identified as Record E and covers Flake's mission in Mississippi from 1898-1899.

    Diary of Walter S. Tolton [microform] : 1896-1934

    Microfilm of the diary of Walter Smith Tolton, covering the years 1896-1934. The diary opens when Tolton was leaving Beaver City for a mission to the Southern States, and briefly covers his experiences in Alabama, Mississippi, and North Carolina from 1896-1897. It then tracks his trek through Arizona and Mexico on his way to an exploring or missionary trip to Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Colombia from 1900-1901. There are a also a variety of notes on the trip made after Tolton had returned to Utah, including lists of "some of the most important fruits we found." The remainder of the volume covers Tolton's daily life, primarily in Beaver City from 1925-1934. The last few frames of the microfilm include monthly records for the West Field Canal Co.
