Kashnor notes, "Shows the Oregon boundary according to the treaty. Shows almost a continuous coastline from Cape Barrow to the mouth of the Fish River, locating Dease and Simpson's discoveries." Kashnor dates [1846], RLIN record dates as 1854, however state of information inland from San Francisco indicates earlier date as more probable. The 48th parallel border between Canada and the United States has been extended by coloring, not a printed correction. This map seems identical to 105:239M except for this hand correction. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: hachures. Graphic Scale: Miles. Projection: Azimuthal. Printing Process: Engraving. Verso Text: MS note: 240.
