    Blaeu's version of the famous Virginia map. According to Burden, Blaeu purchased the plate for this map from Hondius's widow shortly after Hondius's death in 1629; the map first appeared in Blaeu's atlases in 1630 (Burden, entry 193). Date and publisher based on language and signature on verso, following Van der Krogt and Burden.
