Map of Mr. John Evan's patent in Ulster and Orange counties in the Province of New York [as reapportioned subsequent to being vacated and resumed] [cartographic material]

Manuscript rough copy by Samuel Holland and Charles Rivez, approximately 1757, made from an original by Cadwallader Colden (1688-1776) following his initial survey in 1721 of the "Evans Tract". Depicts the ground plot of land from Hudson River to about 500 chains west of Goshen Township. Shows numerous property plots and the names of the holders.

Manuscript chart of the Gulf and River of St. Lawrence, from Gaspé Bay to the Island of Orleans (Île d'Orléans). Shows the Island of St. John (Île de St. Jean) and the northern part of Acadia. North is to the bottom of the map. Phrase "NB the Red dente that part taken from another map" appears below title. Drawn by Charles Rivez, appears to be a copy of HM 15433, with additions from another map.

Manuscript map drawn by Charles Rivez, apparently copied from an earlier map. Drawn up for use in the French and Indian War. Locates Indian Town, with quarries, coal mine and the French shipyard. Shows the soundings of Spanish Bay and free deposits of coal and stone. Ink and wash, with outline in red.

Manuscript map of Québec and surrounding French settlements. Drawn by Charles Rivez around 1757, it appears to be based on an earlier plan by Robert Villenueve showing the attack on Quebec on October 1690.

A manuscript map showing Fort Cumberland, New Brunswick (formerly Fort Beauséjour). Copy by Charles Rivez; the "Explanation" is in another hand. The map shows the profile of the fortifications for several sections. Kashnor attributes the original to Richard Gridley.

Manuscript map by Charles Rivez, showing the boundaries between the provinces of New York and New Jersey. The Hudson and Mohawk rivers are well defined, and the forts, towns and settlements along them are depicted. Lake George and the territory to the north of Ticonderoga are shown, and the settlements, towns and roads of New Jersey are shown through the northern part of Burlington county.
