This map more heavily annotated by Burton than RB 623699.Burton was hired by Alfred Lock to travel to Iceland to evaluate sulfur mines which he had purchased from the Danish government; Burton traveled there from June 4th to September 5th 1872, but on his return Lock refused to pay him. This turned into a protracted legal battle, and Burton returned to Iceland in 1875 to gather information in aid of his case. MS notes in Burton's hand. Stamp: Kensington Public Libraries..
