    Manuscripts

    A view of Market Street and the Central Pacific Railroad ferry terminal in San Francisco. The terminal is a low, wide building with a small clock tower in the center. Tracks for the streetcars lead directly into bays on the nearer side of the building. There are several electric trolleys on the tracks, as well as two horse-drawn trams on the far side of the street. The street is lined with stores, shops, and rail and steamship company buildings.
