  A slightly elevated panoramic view of the 1924 Rose Bowl Game between the United States Naval Academy and the University of Washington at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The image is taken from the open end of the stadium (which was, at that time, horseshoe shaped), facing the field and the stands. There are five marines standing next to the base of the very tall flagpole in the center of the image, and dozens of sailors seated or standing along the near right edge of the field. The stands are mostly filled on the sides, but the far end is sparsely seated. The game is in progress, with most of the players on the field blurred due to motion. The stadium fence is visible on the far right, and there are a few people standing on the hill beyond it. There are a few automobiles parked inside the stadium at the near end of the field.   A slightly elevated panoramic view of the 1925 Rose Bowl Game between the University of Alabama and the University of Washington at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The stands are almost filled, with the exception of some of the higher areas on the far side of the stadium. The game is in progress, with the two teams in the middle of a series near the far 30-yard line. There are men positioned along the near sideline with photographic cameras. There is a very tall flag pole on the far right with a large American flag. Writing in white in the bottom right corner reads "Pasadena Rose Bowl '1926' ; Alabama 20 - Washington 19."
