Her hair is pulled up on either side of her head, with tight curls hanging down. Sue, on the right, is wearing a dress with vertical stripes and exposed shoulders. Her hair is pulled back, and decorated with wide ribbons. They are holding each other's right hands, with Dora resting her left hand on Sue's shoulder, and Sue holding a small book(?) in her lap with her left hand.

McClees, artist, 910 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia" is stamped in black on the verso.

Fisher is resting his right forearm on a cloth-draped side table and his left hand on his left thigh. He has a neatly trimmed mustache and a wide goatee that reaches the bottom of his collar. "Geo. Stotler's Old Portrait Gallery, Johnstown, Pa." is stamped in black on the verso.
