    Report on the general history and description of the Quinn Consolidated Mining Company's properties, Lyon County, State of Nevada

    This bound report gives a physical description and history of the Quinn Consolidated Mining Company's properties in Lyon County, Nevada. Included are transcripts from government reports related to the Quinn Mining Works and from several newspaper stories about the mine, primarily from 1880 (includes a description of a large explosion that destroyed much of the Quinn Works on September 1, 1880). Additional items include a stock share from the Quinn Mining Company, several topographical maps, a plan of the underground workings of the Quinn mine, and photographs of the Lyon County area near the Quinn mine.
