- A slightly elevated view of Los Angeles at Hope and 8th. The two streets are lined with large houses. The church on the left, with a sign for "Simpson Auditorium" was the Simpson Methodist Episcopal Church, and later became the Third Church of Christ, Scientist. A note written in white in the bottom left corner reads "Pierce 8006".
