The series in divided into eighteen subseries: the Bishop Light and Power Company; the California Electric Power Company; the Edison Electric Company; the Imperial Ice and Development Company; the Kern River Company; the Mountain Power Company; the Mount Whitney Power and Electric Corporation; the Nevada-California Electric Corporation; the Nevada-California Power Company; the Nevada Power, Mining, and Milling Company; the Pacific Light and Power Company; the Redlands Gas Company; the Redlands Light and Power Company; the Rialto Light, Power, and Water Company; the San Joaquin and Eastern Railroad Company; the Southern Sierras Power Company; the United Electric, Gas, and Power Company; and the Ventura County Power Company.
