- A collection of 1,278 items from 1798 to 1839, it consists of the correspondence between John Rickman and Robert Southey during their 41-year friendship. Box 16 also contains a few letters by other authors including four by James Burney, English Naval officer, and two by George Dyer, English classicist, poet and editor.
