Primarily consists of materials from 1995 to 2017 that highlight Lozano's advocacy work around voting initiatives and election polling for Latino/Hispanic communities in Los Angeles (Voces del Pueblo, Voz y Voto, Latino Health Vote) and with ensuring Latino representation in the 2000 census. Also includes materials from advisory boards, panels, and committees that Lozano served on from 2015 to 2017 including the Aspen Institute Latinos and Society Program.

This series documents the professional work of Monica Lozano from her time as editor, publisher, and CEO of La Opinión newspaper and Senior Vice President of Newspapers for ImpreMedia LLC media company. There are correspondence, certificates, clippings, and programs from awards Monica won for her role in print media, Spanish language media, civic engagement, and involvement on various corporate and governmental boards. A significant portion of the series is related to public appearances that Lozano made at conferences, symposiums, panels, and other events.
