La Opinión Partnerships and Supplements, Events

Partnerships between La Opinión and various Los Angeles or California-based organizations spanning 2007 to 2011, as well as materials detailing supplements and special issues put out by La Opinión with multiple partner organizations. Notable partnerships and supplements include Voices for Justice: 200 Years of Latino Newspapers in the United States in collaboration with USC (2008), and Club Digital with AT&T, aimed at closing the Latino digital literacy divide. There are also materials from events spanning 1993 to 2014, including a Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF) event in 1998, Negocios Reception (1998), Latin Business Association Expo (1998), Technology Fair (2000), La Opinión Employees Anniversary (2002), Oscar De La Hoya (2006), Mexican Bicentennial (2010), and Mujeres Destacadas (2008-2014), an event honoring distinguished Latina women.
