Four copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Colorado Press Association Convention on February 21, 1969. Four of the copies are in pamphlet form. Also in this folder are twenty-three letters of correspondence, which included two letters of correspondence between Otis Chandler and Palmer Hoyt, Editor and Publisher of the Denver Post, in which Hoyt is sending Chandler tear sheets and Chandler response with a thank you letter; two letters of correspondence between Otis Chandler and Harold Willens, President of Factory Equipment Supply Corporation, requesting copies of the speech and Chandler informing him there weren't enough printed; eight letters of correspondence in which six are inviting Otis Chandler as guest speaker and two Otis Chandler accepts; seven letters and two note cards of correspondence, seven items in which congratulate Otis Chandler on a great speech and two Otis Chandler response with thank yous; a thank you letter from Ken Johnson, General Manager of the Daily Sentinel; and a letter from Hal Hall, Owner and Manager of the Red Mountain Lodge, in which he criticizes Otis Chandler's speech.

Lorenz, Administrative Assistant to the President, San Jose State College, from Freddie Miller, regarding requested reprints; a memo from Otis Chandler to Art Seidenbaum, requesting ideas for speech; a thank you letter from Robert D. Clark, San Jose State, to Otis Chandler; a newspaper clipping from the San Jose Mercury regarding the speech; a letter, with an invitation attached, from George W. Milias, Chairman, California Legislature Assembly committee on State Personnel and Veterans Affairs, to Otis Chandler, sending his regrets on not being able to attend the reception in honor of Otis Chandler; a thank you letter from Mrs. Murial K. Lorenz, Administrative Assistant to the President, San Jose State College, to Freddie Miller, also discussing the reception honoring Otis Chandler; four letters stapled together of correspondence between Mrs. Murial K. Three copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Los Angeles Ad Club on March 31, 1976. One of the copies has a note from Freddie Miller attached to it which briefs Chandler on the event. Other items in this folder include a letter from John W. Hill of Hill and Knowlton, Inc., in which he requests a copy of the speech; a memo from Frank Flood to Vance Stickell informing him of the meeting and what the Ad Club is requesting; a thank you memo from Vance Stickell to Otis Chandler, for agreeing to speak at the meeting; a letter from Miriam Austin, Secretary to Stuart C. Brandy, Vice President and General Manager of Shoreacres Broadcasting Company Limited, requesting a copy of the speech; a letter to Gladys Yonich of the Los Angeles Ad Club, from Freddie Miller in which Miller is sending Otis Chandler's biography and photograph; three letters of praise which have attached to them Otis Chandler's thank you response letters.

1 item: faint photocopy of handwritten letter from Marian Otis Chandler to Frank A. Garbutt, date not visible. He had written a "tribute" to Harry Chander, possibly at the time of Chandler's death in 1944, and Marian wanted to thank him. "Because of your long association you could speak with understanding," she wrote.
