Two copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Publisher's Reception for New Employees on Tuesday, June 14, 1966. One of the copies has handwritten notes. Also included in this folder is a note from Robert L. Flannes attached to a page recapping the attendance of the reception; a copy of the agenda; a memo from Bob Groundwater to Otis Chandler regarding information regarding attendees that Chandler requested; a memo from Otis Chandler to Otis Booth regarding the details of the reception; and a memo from Rex Barley to Freddie Miller informing Miller he will be out of town for the reception.

Other items in this folder include a memo to Freddie Miller from Fred Cheuvront informing her of the information he will be providing her with in the next few days; a four page memo to Robert L. Flannes from Fred Cheuvront, which outlines the program; a two page memo to Loren Hibler, Walt Finke and Spencer Price, regarding microphones; a three page memo from Fred Cheuvront regarding notes to be discussed with Freddie Miller; a four page document, one depicting the stage seating and the other three pages are Robert J. Groundwater's script; a two page memo to Freddie Miller from Fred Cheuvront, regarding the arrangements for the ceremony; and ten pages of notes that helped to create the speech.
