There is a 2-pp. letter, dated 2/13/1967, from David Brandman (Co-Game Director) to Rams Coach George Allen, questioning a number of expenses Allen was trying to cross-charge to game sponsors. It was felt these were personal expenses he should pay for, especially since it was a game to raise funds for charity. Allen's room at the Sheraton-West was paid for and he was given an additional $200 for "incidental expenses." But he then wanted to be reimbursed $155 for restaurant charges and $55 for parking his car. Brandman points out that he could have parked 22 cars for 24-hr. at that rate.
