Description

Programs from various events sponsored or organized by the Los Angeles Times, often as fundraisers for the Los Angeles Times fund. Events include track meets, the Pan-Pacific Pentathlon, the Times Grand Prix, and plant openings. One full box of correspondence, contracts, and other items created in the organizing and promotion of the NFL All-Star Games and AFC-NFC Pro-Bowls, held in Los Angeles 1953-1969 and sponsored by the Los Angeles Times. Arranged chronologically, then by event. Date range is 1921-1990.
