Lobdell discusses the growth of law relating to press issues and the increase in litigation (pp. 1 - 2) ; William (Bill) Niese, also of Los Angeles Times Legal Dept., joins the interview in progress (pp.5+) ; they relate a case in which girls in tiny swimsuits ended up in pictures in a West magazine story on the Colorado River party scene sued for compensation claiming they were used as models (pp. 8 - 12) ; extended discussion between the three men on libel, privacy, shield laws, citizens' rights to government materials.
