    Two copies of the speech that was suppose to be given by Otis Chandler at the San Marino City Club on Tuesday, January 17, 1978. There is a note from Freddie Miller on one of the copies stating that Chandler decided to speak "off the cuff" instead. Other items in this folder include a thank you letter from John M. Podlech, a Pasadena Attorney, which he also sends a three page photocopy of a Reader's Digest article; a letter from Lynn P. Reitnouer, President-Elect of the San Marino City Club, providing information about the event; two letters of correspondence between Jack D. Whitehead of Beatrice Food Co. and Otis Chandler in which Whitehead discusses the speech's message, and Chandler responds with a thank you letter; a newspaper clipping from the San Marino Tribune.

    Three copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Los Angeles Ad Club on March 31, 1976. One of the copies has a note from Freddie Miller attached to it which briefs Chandler on the event. Other items in this folder include a letter from John W. Hill of Hill and Knowlton, Inc., in which he requests a copy of the speech; a memo from Frank Flood to Vance Stickell informing him of the meeting and what the Ad Club is requesting; a thank you memo from Vance Stickell to Otis Chandler, for agreeing to speak at the meeting; a letter from Miriam Austin, Secretary to Stuart C. Brandy, Vice President and General Manager of Shoreacres Broadcasting Company Limited, requesting a copy of the speech; a letter to Gladys Yonich of the Los Angeles Ad Club, from Freddie Miller in which Miller is sending Otis Chandler's biography and photograph; three letters of praise which have attached to them Otis Chandler's thank you response letters.

    A copy of the speech given by Otis Chandler at the San Diego Chapter of Sigma Delta Chi on Wednesday, November 2, 1977. Other items in this folder include a note from Freddie Miller providing details about the evening; an article regarding the Tejon Ranch comments during the speech; two copies of notes for the speech, one is typed out the other handwritten; a thank you letter from Ralph B. Bennett, Chief Editorial Writer of the Evening Tribune; two letters of correspondence between Otis Chandler and Ralph B. Bennett in which Bennett is requesting Chandler to be speaker and Chandler thanks Bennett and accepts the invitation; two letters of correspondence between Otis Chandler and Robert M. Witty, Editor of the San Diego Daily Transcript, in which Witty sends the story Chandler had requested of him, and also sends copies of his paper, Chandler responds with a thank you letter.

    Three copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Los Angeles World Affairs Council on March 8, 1977. One of the copies has hand written notes on it. Other items in this folder include two flyers; a list of the head table; a two page reception list; three pages of hand written notes on yellow ruled paper; two copies of a memo from Freddie Miller providing details about the day's schedule; a two page article from Reuters regarding the KGB Police and the Los Angeles Times Bureau Chief; a receipt for a table of six; a letter from Harold C. Marlowe of Hal Marlowe Agency, Inc., extending a drinks invitation; a note card and five letters of praise; a letter from Arnold Caritan, District Manager of the Los Angeles District Office of the Automobile Club of Southern California, in which he forwards a picture he took with Chandler and is requesting Chandler to sign it so he can frame it; a response letter from Chandler to Arnold Caritan, returning the picture and informing Caritan that he is flattered; a letter from Charles W. Gates of Kidder, Peadbody & Co., offering Chandler financial services and a response thank you letter from Chandler; five items of correspondence consisting of three letters from Edmonde A. Haddad, Executive Director of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, regarding details about the event and a response thank you letter from Chandler.

Other items in this folder include a note from Freddie Miller with the names of the other recipients; a brochure of the event; a program of the event; a phone-o-gram for Freddie Miller from Judy Anderson of GM Public Relations requesting a copy of the speech; a note from Freddie Miller recommending taking a table; two photographs with a note from Andrea L. Fisher, Executive Director of the Coro Foundation; two copies of a letter from Coro (C. Thomas Wilck, Peggy Funkhouser and Andrea L. Fisher), providing additional information regarding the event; a note from Coro requesting Chandler's biography; a letter to Vance L. Stickell from March Fong EU and Thorton F. Bradshaw of Atlantic Richfield Company, in which they invite Stickell to the event and enclose a card to return with those who commit to buy or sell tables; the card to buy or sell tables; a thank you letter from Lloyd B. Dennis, Chairman and President of Coro Foundation; two letters of correspondence between Assemblyman Paul T. Bannai, Fifty-Third District California Legislature, and Otis Chandler, in which Bannai congratulates Chandler for winning the award and Chandler responds with a thank you letter; two letters of correspondence between Jack Tenner of Olney, Levy, Kaplan and Tenner, and Otis Chandler in which Tenner thanks Chandler for his contributions to the city and a great speech, and Chandler responds by stating he appreciated the thoughtful letter and that he states he was ill that night; a congratulatory letter from Peggy Funkhouser, Trustee Dinner Chairman; a thank you letter from Andrea L. Fisher; a remittance statement for the purchase of a table for 10 people at the event; a thank you card/receipt from Coro for the purchase of the table; and three notes, one is typed. The first note is a typed note to Bill from "NT" regarding Egyptian Ambassador coming to Los Angeles. The second note is regarding a silver Corvette. The third and last note has an address, an phone number and the name Ginny Green written on it.
