4 large plastic sleeves containing: original newsprint of articles by Otis Chandler written for Mirror News in the 1950s ; several commendations awarded to Otis Chandler by the City of Los Angeles, the State of California, Jewish groups including Yad Vashem of Jerusalem, the Jewish Federation Council and Museum of the Holocaust and others ; an Employee Bulletin and an original copy of LAT Morning Final for 3/6/1980, reporting that Tom Johnson would become publisher on 4/14/1980 ; large ring-bound scrapbook album regarding the acquisition of the Denver Post, 1980. Scrapbook from Otis Chandler's office.

    Four copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Jewish Federation Council on Sunday, January 23, 1966. Two of the copies are drafts. Attached to the draft is a memo from Freddie Miller informing Otis Chandler on pertinent facts about the luncheon. Other items in this folder include are a copy of the Heritage Southwest Jewish Press and a newspaper clipping that refer to the award presented to Otis Chandler by the Jewish Federation Council.
