7 items. Some of the items in this folder are quite yellowed and beginning to crumble, especially a stapled copy of "Plea and answer of J.J. McNamara." Also "People vs. M.A. Schmidt," material related to the trial from County Archives, including "Report of the Mayor's Committee," copy of J.B. McNamara's handwritten confession, letter from General Secretary of the United Shoeworkers of America to Gov. Hyram Johnson, General (Harrison Gray) Otis, and to the McNamara brothers. The letter refers to "the unspeakable General Otis of Los Angeles." A 1967 cover letter from C.J. Hyans to Carl Greenberg of LAT, attached to a 1950 letter from attorney Joseph Scott to Hyans. The older letter deals with the bombing and trial.
