And provided free of charge for use in junior and senior high school English and Journalism classes. Includes abridged articles, pieces from local high school students, photographs, and poetry. Date range is 1972-1986.

Approx. 15 items. During this time frame, LAT initiated a program of providing a publication titled Student Outlook to area high school students. It was a brief digest of news and current events. It was later proposed to expand this program into the elementary schools (5th and 6th grades). Other materials in the file include teacher evaluations of Student Outlook, and annual reports on LAT's Educational Services Dept. There is one memo (Gordon Phillips, 1964) on the Times Scholarship Program.
