Subjects include: internal memos discussing Yorty and his relationship with LAT; discussion of Yorty's affinity for news anchor George Putnam; colorful marginal notes about Yorty by Otis C. and others; 1963 invitation for W. to attend Yorty birthday party at Hollywood Palladium and W.'s regrets; Yorty claims that LAT material was "purposely one-sided," etc. Otis C. wrote marginal notes critical of Yorty. In red pencil he wrote on an August 1963 Mayoral letter --"A real kook with impossible emotions," and "[Yorty is] always looking for someone to give him sympathy."
