Noteworthy bulletins: bulletin, 6/6/1990, "...The Times is now the largest daily circulation metropolitan newspaper in the country" ; bulletin, 8/3/1990, "Times Mirror has agreed to buy a 50% interest in La Opinion...the nation's largest Spanish-language daily..." ; bulletin, 9/4/1990, "Dick Schlosberg, pres. and chief operating officer of The Times, has been named group vice president, newspapers of The Times Mirror Company...leaving The Times and taking on his new assignment at the end of the month."
