    Libel Cases - Olender, Ben - Beatnik story

Material includes: tear sheets of two stories ("Beatniks stay in 'pads', tourist novelty gone." and "Few Beatniks develop...real art talents"); letter to "Editor", from Howard Holtzman, an attorney representing an artist named Taki Camille, who objected to, as she alleged, being characterized as a beatnik; a photo of "Taki" working on one of her sculptures (taken by Olender); note from Lawrence Lipton to Don Neff (LAT) saying that Lipton would, if the case went to court, support The Times, the writer (Neff) and the photographer (Olender); etc.
