Material includes: a small, spiral-bound notebook with notes & quotes; newspaper clippings; memos and letters; an Oct. 15, 1962, news release from Committee to Re-elect Governor Brown. A representative of the John Birch Society demanded a retraction for publication by LAT of a statement of Gov. Edmund. Brown regarding the JBS.
