A 1957 letter from Williams to Francis Ludlow, Editor of The Retail Bookseller, informing Ludlow that the Times did, in fact, run a monthly list of nationwide bestselling books; a 1957 memo from Robert Kirsch (Book Review Editor) to Williams on the subject of "new features"; a 1970 letter from Williams to Mrs. Morton Fassberg of Encino, responding to her letter about a review written by Max Rafferty.
