Description: Two copies, both in Richard Varick's hand, of the proceedings of the court of inquiry that cleared him and David Franks of aiding Benedict Arnold. Copy A includes the text of The Interrogatories of Major Franks (1780, Nov. 19). Copy B ends with the text of Varick's speech to the court.
