Bound letterbook containing copies of correspondence sent by Feramorz Little from 1863 to 1877. The correspondence focuses on business dealings (including references to the Union Pacific Railroad and Utah Southern Line) and accounts. Recipients include Brigham Young, George Q. Cannon, Joseph W. Young, and Parley P. Pratt. A September 23, 1865, letter sent from Salt Lake City notes "Our City Council has prohibited the sale of all liquor within the City limits."

Letterbook of outgoing letters sent by San Francisco merchant Charles A. Thackston from May 15, 1852, to February 13, 1853. Most of the correspondence relates to Thackston's business contacts in New York, and references shipping, power of attorney, and notes on various residents of San Francisco. Some of the correspondence appears to be personal, possibly written to Thackston's brother. In a bound letterbook labeled "Leonora Thackston, Scrap Book, 1870."

Letterbook kept by C.C. Thomas, superintendent of the Sutro Tunnel Company, from March to November 1882. The letters describe company business and operating expenses, as well as repairs made on the Sutro Tunnel. Also includes a sketch showing the claim of the Consolidated Virginia Mining Company.

Joseph Symson commercial letterbook

This manuscript volume contains 2,041 office copies of correspondence sent out, mainly, by Symson but also his sons, so the volume is written in several different hands; the letterbook covers just under a decade and includes both business and personal affairs with notes of debts owed and some family correspondence. Shortly after acquiring the letterbook in 1985, the Huntington replaced the contemporary covers which the sale catalogue described as "blind-panelled reverse calf (both covers detached and badly worn);" the original covers were preserved and are housed separately.

The letterbook includes both personal and business correspondence of J. M. Seibert, the Wells, Fargo & Company general agent in Mexico City. Subjects discussed are: William Jennings Bryan, Edward Henry Harriman, John J. Valentine, and real estate, copper, gold, and silver mining, coffee plantations, and business schemes in Mexico. There are also detailed descriptions of Mexico, and more specifically, Mexico City. The majority of the letters deal with Seibert's personal investments and business dealings; although some of the discussion pertains to Wells, Fargo & Company's investments and real estate purchases

This journal or diary, kept at irregular intervals over nearly forty years (fullest for the 1720s), gradually morphs into a letterbook recording copies of Thomlinson's correspondence. Early entries discuss with some frankness his family and prospects, his own and his family's business and legal mattters, daily life and gossip, books and rading (including The Tatler), politics and current events, sermons, occasional medicinal rcipes and cures, and accounts of his corresepondence.
