    This is apparently the original catalogue of King Charles I and King Charles II's printed books and manuscripts in the library at St. James's Palace; the volume also formerly owned by Colonel Lovelace in the 17th century. The volume is bound in red morocco leather; at each corner of the central panel and on the back are crowns with the letters C.C. intertwined. There are additional blank pages at the beginning and end of the volume, with some minimal insect damage; with modern autograph notes in pencil on the first page.

    Visiting List of Samuel B. P. Knox

    The volume contains a record of Samuel B. P. Knox's medical practice for January 1900 to January 1901. It includes patient name and fees paid. Some entries include reason for visiting and the patient's address. The volume also contains several pages in the beginning explaining how to use the book as well as several sections such as "Comparative Scales," "Artificial Respiration," and "Poisons and Antidotes" among others. At the end of the volume are pages for "General Memoranda," "Obstetric Engagements and Practice," "Death Register," and "Cash Account."

    Manuscripts

    A register of admissions for the Sadlers' Company (Shrewsbury, Shropshire), 1739-1854. The volume also contains list of Freeman of the Company since 1685, oaths, minutes of meetings, correspondence, etc. Please note: the volume has been placed in an archival box as it is very fragile; the spine is damaged, the covers and some pages are loose, please handle carefully.
