A repurposed schoolteacher's grade and attendance record book used as a store ledger; an alphabetically arranged ledger recording the total debts of all individuals with numbers in the general ledger. The back of the volume contains draft business letters copied out on the final pages. Original green printed wraps, the spine and covers are damaged, with bits missing; some staining to covers and interior pages, with a small number of pages missing.

The first orderly book, complete from the date his took command of the brigade until his day of his resignation, includes the period of the battle of Crooked Billet. It is followed by the orderly book of Lacey's second command and covers the period from Aug. 14 to Sept. 1

Account book and time book for the Rockdale Mining Company

The volume contains an account book and time book for the Rockdale Mining Company in Blackhawk, Colorado. The time book, which covers 1864 and 1865, contains the names of employees, hours worked, days worked, and wages earned for several mines including the Leavenworth Gulch, the Calhoun Lode, and the Harsh Lode. The rest of the volume contains financial account information from 1875 to 1881

Medical Ledger
Manuscripts
This ledger is an account book of patients and the fees paid for medical treatment. The author is unknown and the accounts seem to belong to several doctors; perhaps in Massachusetts. There is some mention of the treatment performed or reason for visit such as: childbirth, vaccinations, setting fractures, etc. Several pages have been cut-out of the volume. The spine is loose.
