    A carbon copy, created in 1938, of a typescript transcription of the autobiography of Milo Andrus. The 14-page, bound manuscript covers the period from 1779 to 1875, touching on Andrus' early life, his conversion to Mormonism, his work in Florence, Ohio and Nauvoo, Illinois, his marriages, his various positions of leadership in the Mormon Church, and his travels as a missionary and pioneer. Andrus also mentions his father's opposition to his participation in Mormonism, incidences of cholera among early Mormons, and the assassinations of Joseph and Hyrum Smith.

    David Osborne autobiography

    Typescript of an autobiography begun by David Osborne (also spelled Osborn) in February 1860. Osbourne recounts his childhood in Virginia, his conversion to Mormonism, persecutions against the Mormons, the Osbournes' travels throughout Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa, the deaths of his wife and several of their children, and his life in Utah. The autobiography covers the years from 1807 to 1870. A note written by David A. Osborne records the death of his father in 1893.

    This typescript is a copy made by Juanita Brooks in 1938 from a typewritten copy loaned to M. Wilford Poulson of Brigham Young University. Written by Emma Seegmiller Higbee, the daughter of Charles Negus Carroll, it covers the entirety of his life; his conversion to Mormonism in New Hampshire in 1853, his family's difficult journey to Utah, frontier and pioneer life in Utah, and life in Heber City and Orderville.
