    Spine title: Complete Works of Edward Fitzgerald, Vol. II Dummy with blank pages containing pasted pages of printed text from Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám (1859 Bernard Quaritch edition); pencil notes indicating text placement; and inserted page 10 of "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam" with note, "Trial page showing how autograph corrections have been indicated. There are no such corrections in the first volume, but a number occur later on."

    Im Frühling: a song with words and music

    A musical piece dedicated to Adolf Böttger and written in Leipzig, Germany. The spine and front cover contain the English title "In the Spring;" the manuscript is bound in red morocco gilt and there is slight damage to the spine. Also included are various autograph notes and musical pieces originally laid into the volume.
