Visual Materials
One portfolio of bird images entitled Birds for School and Home: Folio 2, Summer Birds, designed by Maud Adelaide Wright, manufactured by the Milton Bradley Company, copyright 1911. The set is comprised of 7 sheets of bird parts (bodies, wings and tails) for coloring and cutting out. These are designed to be colored, cut out and sewn or pasted together to form 3-dimensional objects to be hung, as in a mobile. The sheets of cutouts are preceded by a preliminary sheet which lists the types of birds and directions for coloring them. The types of birds included in this set are: wood thrush; phoebe; catbird; kingfisher; hummingbird; king bird; chewink; chimney swift; redstart and Maryland Yellowthroat. The sheets are housed within an illustrated paper envelope with directions for use. "Copyright 1911" is printed on each of the sheets and on the outer envelope.

There is also a small run of Birds: A Monthly Serial Designed to Promote Knowledge of Bird-Life from 1897 through 1898. Other printed matter includes two copies of The Audubon Magazine, vol. I, no. 9 and vol. LXIV, no. 1. An item of interest is "Taxidermist's Note Book on Collecting Trips of Wm. J. Magee".
