It is given them with the knowledge that a careful and constant use of the same will result in the betterment of their product and an increase in their profits ... The title of this handbook would indicate that it has not been prepared merely to show the various colors manufactured by the Philip Ruxton Company, for it does not show them all. Printed on these pages are complete articles from the leading printing magazine of the United States, reproductions of articles from eminent authorities on typography, book-building, and color-printing"--From preface.
