Grace Burke Hubble and Ida Crotty notes

    Manuscripts

These are notes compiled by Grace Hubble, Ida Crotty, and others, were attempts at telepathic communication. A person would take an object such as a piece of jewelry, a photograph, or a pebble, and describe what they felt about that item. For example, on the evening of July 28, 1959, the third object selected were two fishing rods in an aluminum case. A woman named Maria ----- describes "Somebody holding something between the hands, an Indian sitting on the ground, -something stretched between two hands. An owl, -I see its big eyes, big beak." These notes span from 1959 through 1967.
