Passierschein = Safe conduct

Description

Language of material: German

Notes: An amended safe conduct pass with the terms of the bearer's surrender printed in German and English on one side, adjusted to imply that the bearer is a traitor and will be mistreated, and a message in English on the other side noting the changes that have been made.

Library also two copies of the original "Safe conduct" flyer with terms on the treatment of prisoners from the Hague Convention (1907) and the Geneva Convention (1929) on the verso.
