Manuscripts
A scrapbook containing newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, and maps. The clippings are from, among others, The Los Angeles Hearld, The Los Angeles Examiner, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Western Flying Magazine, and The Literary Digest. The scrapbook includes a photograph of two members of the flight crew taken in Sydney, Australia and a photograph of the flight crew and a crowd of people after landing in Australia (June 10, 1928). Also included are two printed maps of other historic flights between 1926 to 1930, signed by the pilots.

Included: a copy of an article from Communication Arts (5-6 / 1982), on Sheila Levrant de Bretteville, who did a re-design of LAT's layout ; a folder within the folder is titled "Reader Reaction," an contains a small number of reader letters commenting on a 1980 "re-do."
