A play which engaged with contemporary geopolitical developments such as the French Revolution and the ongoing Russo-Turkish War. In the comedy, Russians are imprisoned along side French servants by Turkish invaders. Cowley's message is staunchly anti-imperialist.

Bound in textured black material. The title, "Roamer and Truckee 1914-15" is embossed in center of cover in gold lettering. The number "86" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Photos are of Jack and Charmian London on a trip aboard the yacht Roamer through the south San Francisco Bay to Napa. Also includes images of a side trip to Truckee, California where they ski and ride on dog sleds.
