Description: Bound in textured black material. The title, "Roamer and Truckee 1914-15" is embossed in center of cover in gold lettering. The number "86" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Photos are of Jack and Charmian London on a trip aboard the yacht Roamer through the south San Francisco Bay to Napa. Also includes images of a side trip to Truckee, California where they ski and ride on dog sleds.

Provenance: The nucleus of the collection was purchased by Henry Huntington from Charmian London in 1925. Additional groups of material were acquired by both gift and purchase from Mrs. London and later from literary executors Irving Shepard and I. Milo Shepard over many years. Further material has been acquired from other sources; the provenance of these items is noted on the individual folders.

Images are of military officers and personnel, US Naval ships, San Juan de Ulau, and the city of Veracruz during the American Occupation. Also includes photographic postcards taken of casualties and destruction during the Mexican Revolution, some by well known photographers such as W. H. Horne and Walter P. Hadsel.
