[Color plate book : collection of two series of chromolithographically printed designs]
Rare Books
"...[C]ontaining two series of chromolithographically printed designs. The first, apparently English, consists of 40 plates, and shows designs for friezes, etc. The second, probably German, gives the name of the lithographer as Fr. Moises, and consists of a series of tessellations. Neither series bears a title page, nor any text, and there is no evidence of these having been present. There is no identification given on the binding. Judging by appearances alone, these plates were produced before 1860. ... [W]e have not been able to find more about them"--From bookseller's description.
