- Standing half-length, nearly full face, in front of dark sky, with clouds at left. Dressed in military costume -- red coat decorated with gold buttons and braid at cuffs, high collar with white neck cloth. Clutching dark blue military coat over proper right shoulder with left hand. Dark hair cropped short, greying at temples.
