Gothic-Revival Chair
1 of 2
This chair was designed as part of a 36-piece set for George IV's Great Dining Room at Windsor Castle. It is attributed to Pugin, one of England's most influential designers of Gothic Revival architecture and decorative art. The Gothic Revival style drew upon architectural features such as pointed arches, trefoils and quatrefoils, tracery, and naturalistic foliage.
