Card table

1 of 2

This table, with a finely crafted design of a shell inlaid into its top surface, was once owned by Henry E. Huntington. Like the card tables presented in Room 13, the top of this table opens outward for use in playing cards and other games. As shown here, such tables were designed to be closed and placed against a wall when not in use.
