A panoramic photograph documenting the opening and dedication of the newly-built Koyasan Buddhist Temple in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, on October 26, 1940. The photograph shows a large number of temple officials, patrons, supporters, and worshippers posing in front of the temple, including dozens of children wearing traditional clothing, and several Japanese American Boy Scouts. The photograph is captioned in Japanese and has a dual photography credit written in English for Toyo Miyatake and Izuo Studio.

A panoramic photograph depicting the funeral of Japanese American Otoji Hara, who once worked as a superintendent at a tuna cannery on Terminal Island. The image was taken at Sunnyside Cemetery in Long Beach, California, and shows a large group of mourners made up of men, women, and children, facing the camera, with the casket in the middle. The scene includes a long line of flower wreaths with ribbons in Japanese, and several oil derricks feature prominently in the background. The print is captioned in Japanese and is signed Ninomiya, L.A., a photography studio founded by Kinso Ninomiya in 1922.
